I don't really have much to say though.

Luke bought me a very nice present and I love it! Thankyou so much, Luke! I'm not sure how I can thank you enough XD

I have four weeks of course work left before I can concentrate only on my thesis so things are very busy at the moment. I've been doing work everyday so the couple of hours I spend with friends roughly one night a week are very much appreciated. There's quite a few things I'd like to organise once things settle down a bit. Hopefully people will want to join in XD

Uuuummmmm....Yeah. Basically my life consists of uni right now so I can't think of anything else to say.

I got a letter this morning that said I had won an award for outstanding results in classical studies. It's the kind of award that has a name! I'm very much ecstatic right now and have found it hard not to bounce everywhere I go!

(This has not helped tone down my raging ego however....)

I sure don't...But here's one anyway, in point form.

- My thesis topic has been approved and I'll hopefully have my chapter breakdown done soon.
- Honours is going well and so far it's not stressing me out too much. I do need to make a bit of a study plan though so I stay on top of things.
- I had my foot x-rayed a few days ago and can hopefully get results this week sometime. I'm hoping it's not going to be too bad, obviously.
- This heatwave thing is rather bullshit, wouldn't you say?
- I'd very much like to get started on a sculpture thing but I'm going to wait until it's bearable to walk to the store. I wish everything was more accessable in this city...
- This month is full of birthdays in my family. I should probably get them something.

I've been trying to spend a day each week not doing any uni work (much...) because I am a huge stress pot so if anyone wants to do anything, especially something more out of the ordinary than normal, let me know. I'm all for breaking up routines, I find it much easier to work that way. Sorry if I'm oblivious to a lot of other things this year.

Last night I went to see The Police in concert. That bring my grand concert total to a resounding four! None of which I've paid for but all of which I've been to with my big sister.

So last night was great. I got to see Sting in person and had an awesome time. Although she won't see this, thankyou to my big sister for the birthday/christmas present!

At least, it's been a while since I posted anything of any kind of personal value.

Let's see, I finished work at the Magic Cave on christmas eve and won't be doing it again any time soon unless I learn how to numb myself to stupidity and abusive nature of humanity. I miss some of the people though, but you get that. Thankfully I saved up enough to get a new computer which will hopefully be in my hot little hands soon.

Christmas was...well...honestly I can't remember much due to working for 13 days straight leading up to it. I was pretty vague that day I think.

I spent the week after that trying to make the most of not having to actually do anything, but naturally I stuck my head in books anyway for some of it.

New Years was quiet but good.

I had two completely amazing meals in two days courtesy of one of Luke's friends and then my parents the next day. I now crave chinese and souffle.

Played LLTK on saturday, which proved itself to be fun again.

I managed to pick up some nice new clothes during the sales. Which reminds me, I need to do washing.

Stay tuned for a rant on idiots who think dustmotes are magical mysterious "orbs".

Hope everyone had a good christmas. Mine was made better knowing that I don't have to go back to a shitstorm of a job afterwards. It was an experience.

I'll let people know about doing something one night soon. I'd like to finally celebrate my graduation and honours acceptance, and just catch up with people cause I've been a shut in for the last seven weeks.

Working 13 days in a row is kind of sucky, especially when it involves kids and their intolerable parents. I was going to get a day off inbetween but today I was asked to replace someone. At least I should be able to get a new puter out of it.

In other news I was chosen for jury duty. That should be interesting. Unfortunately it's in the same month that honours officially starts so I have to email the uni to find out if it'll be a problem.

One day I'll get a chance to relax. One day.
