Just a quick question... maybe :O
I was wondering... I know there is a MGS4 Bundle for the PS3 coming out soon - and I was just wondering if there was any idea if this would be coming to the UK... possibly? Are we loved enough to get this bundle? XD
I've been trying to decide whether or not to get myself a PS3 lately (I have an Xbox360 already, so it's not an easy decision to make really...) - but if we're getting the MGS4 bundle (with the 80Gb and some form of backward compatability) I'd definitely get myself one of those.
Any ideas? ^^'

Madworld
Platinum Games have just signed some paperwork with SEGA, and have unveiled 3 of the 4 games they've been workign on. The most interesting of these is definately 'Madworld',
Check this out!
Platinum Games are the studio that the mega-talented 'Clover' became. Hopefully these new games won't be unceremoniously ignored by gamers like 'Okami' and 'God Hand' did.

LOTRO and Beyond Good and Evil
Hi ladies and gents! I recently signed up for Lord of the Rings Online over its Anniversary Weekend, and I was wondering if anyone on this community played? My main is Vaethilrian, a level 14 Elf Champion on the Landroval server. If you see me around feel free to say hi!
Also, does anyone know of any good casual RP-type Kinships?
Also, I'm suprised that this story hasn't been linked to yet - apparently Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been in pre-production for over a year now! But it hasn't been greenlighted by the parent company yet : ( But I loved Beyond Good and Evil and I would love to see a sequel. Jade is a great female game character.

I came across this a while ago and somehow never thought to post it here till today. The lady at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5260408 makes some astonishing jewelry perfect for pirates, submarine captains and the like. Here’s a small sample-
Those are earrings. And yes, its made with real octopus, so its not vegetarian friendly (via a casting method. There’s not rotting sushi inside). You could get some great stories out of jewelry like that.

Bone casing
Ok, here's a noob question if ever I heard one, but I have been reading the memories for the past hour and have still not worked it out! So I do apologise in advance if it's in a really obvious place and I just missed it ;)
When using bone casing - either external or internal - do you sew it on after sewing your corset pieces together? Or do you sew the casing onto the pieces and then sew them together? In the first case the stitching would go through all your layers. This is good, right?
Again, sorry if this seems really obvious - it's so late and my brain is frazzled!

About a week or two ago I decided to make one of Cate Blanchett's costumes from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to wear to go see the film. I went on an ebay buying spree and have been anxiously watching the letterbox ever since. So far I have received everything except the buttons so I really hope they arrive soon!
Got the wig yesterday, it seems to be a little short but otherwise will be ok. I was quite surprised with the quality of the wig as I didn't pay very much for it and it came from China. But it is actually quite soft, has a skin top and has a nice natural colour. So I'm quite happy with it.
I haven't cut the fabric yet. I was supposed to do it today so I could get straight into sewing tomorrow but couldn't find the time. I'll try to do it tomorrow.

Halo 3 achievement question!
Hello there! I have a question about the Marathon Man achievement in Halo 3. If you don't remember which one that is, it's the one where you access all seven terminals for that story. I haven't actually done that yet, I was just wondering if there's a certain button I have to press to be able to "turn the page", I guess, whenever I access a terminal. I know I just wait for the screen to flash red, but once it does that, and the chapter pops up, is there anything else I'm supposed to do? I was playing co-op with my boyfriend and our friend, and they were saying that something wasn't working right after the screen changed to the story.
I've already looked it up online, using Halopedia and all of that, but they don't say anything about what they were talking about. I was hoping you guys might have a faint idea though, because I certainly don't! Haha. Well thank you for the help and happy gaming!

Leather Help?
I recently rediscovered an old jacket of my father's that I'd stolen off him a long time ago. It is a tan colour, made to look like distressed leather (may be leather, not sure) and the lining has a map printed on it. I love it to death only it really doesn't suit my look that well and has the misfortune to have several patches sewn onto it as well as "American Born" painted on the back over a representation of the USA. I want to steam punk it up or at least make it look less like a piece of tourist junk. I've seen a lot of neat stuff on this community so I was wondering if anyone knew what I could do to get rid of the hideous "American Born" on the back and any modifications you might be able to suggest. Thankee!

Opportunity-tan knocks, or "How I got to write stuff about games and stuff".
Not Enough Golds is a project intended to do what few journalism sites seem to get right-- avoiding being elitist assholes both in writing and in personality. Getting back to having FUN with articles. Emphasis on the asshole part. Elitism can be funny in the right manner and dosage.
Previously, I was a long-standing member of AllRPG(Atlus liked us a lot), and though I never made staff, I constantly supported the site and the amazing talents of both staff and members. Unfortunately, within the past year or so, power through popularity became the standard(those who actually did work weren't seeing their labor published on the site), and a number of staff members either left, or were simply ignored when they turned in work.
I don't want to see the talents wasted, and I've been wanting to do something like this since I was 8.
It's my hope that the site'll grow and manage to retain that same soul, not getting wrapped up in "I GOTS TO BE AN INTERNET DICK" or total failure to fight off gaming elitist views(think of any review you've seen where someone praises a game highly but clashes with the score, or randomly blasts something well-received like The Orange Box just because it's not halo omg).
Above all, let's have some FUN.
Anyone is welcome to join-- it's just a forum and IRC chatroom for now, but soon we should have some sort of main site.
